Kunstauktion zu Gunsten des Unter Druck Wintercafé für Wohnungslose

Auch in diesem Jahr organisiert die Czentrifuga in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Serigraffeur die schon legendäre Auktion zugunsten von Unter Druck.
Im Rahmen der Berliner Kältehilfe bietet Unter Druck in den Räumen des Wohnungslosentreffpunkts im Wedding wöchentlich das Nachtcafe an. Leider ist nicht absehbar, dass der Bezirk dies finanziert und der Verein ist auf Spenden angewiesen.
Unter Druck feiert in diesem Jahr sein 25-jähriges Bestehen. Entstanden aus einem Theaterprojekt von und mit Obdachlosen bietet der Verein noch heute konkrete Unterstützung für Wohnungslose. Die Arbeit zeichnet sich durch einzigartige Partizipation der Betroffenen aus. Ein wichtiger Schwerpunkt ist die vielseitige Kulturarbeit, die vom Bezirk leider ebenfalls nicht finanziert wird.
Zahlreiche Künstler haben uns dieses Jahr erneut mit Spenden unterstützt. Ein Teil der Spenden sind im Online-Katalog zu sehen, weitere Spenden kommen in der Regel last minute, so das die Räume vom Urban Spree voll werden!
Die Kunstauktion findet in der Urban Spree Galerie statt, wo die Kunstwerke ab Mittwoch mittags in Form einer Ausstellung zu sehen sein werden.
Der Erlös aus der Auktion geht an Unter Druck – Kultur von der Straße e.V. zur Finanzierung des Nachtcafes und der Kulturarbeit mit Wohnungslosen.

Art Auction to support Unter Druck Wintercafé for the Homeless

Also this year the Czentrifuga in collaboration with the Serigraffeur is organizing the already legendary art auction in favor of Unter Druck.
Within the framework of the Berlin coldness aid program the night cafe offers a weekly night café in the rooms of the Homeless meeting place in Wedding. Unfortunately the district does not finance this and thus the association is dependent on donations.
Unter Druck (under pressure) this year celebrates its 25th anniversary. It originated from a theater project by and with the homeless and still offers tangible support for the homeless. Their work is distinguished by the unique participation of the persons concerned. An important focus is the cultural activities, which unfortunately are also not financed by the district.
Numerous artists have supported us again this year with donations. A part of the donations can be seen in the online catalog, more donations usually come last minute, so the rooms of the Urban Spree will be packed!
The art auction takes place in the Urban Spree gallery, where the art works will be on display from noon to the evening as a grand exhibition.
The proceeds from the auction are donated to Unter Druck – culture from the street e.V. to finance the nightcafé and cultural work with the homeless.
